Skin health app

A skin health app for everyday care — clearly not a medical one.

SkinCare AI is a wellness companion for the daily side of skin health: knowing how your skin looks today, knowing what is in the products you use, and doing your routine consistently. It does not diagnose or treat anything, and it says so plainly on every screen where it matters.

Three habits, one app

Skin health, in the everyday sense, comes down to a few repeatable habits. SkinCare AI is organised around them. See your skin clearly: one selfie gives hydration, oil and redness readings with a short label and next step. Know what is on your shelf: scan product packaging to capture ingredients. Make care a habit: morning and evening checklists with reminders you set.

Guidance you can check

Every health statement in the app is backed by public health and dermatology sources — MedlinePlus/NIH, NIAMS, NHS, WHO, FDA and the American Academy of Dermatology — and they are listed with links in Settings → Sources & references and under each scan result. If the app suggests humectants for thirsty-looking cheeks, you can read where that comes from.

  • Face scan: water, oil, redness, condition label and notes
  • Shelf: ingredients from packaging, period-after-opening days
  • Routine: AM/PM checklists, reminders, done count and day streak
  • Progress: readings compared across scans
  • Sources & references for every piece of guidance

Where the line is

Every reading is general skincare wellness guidance, not a medical diagnosis. SkinCare AI does not identify, treat or prevent any condition; if something on your skin worries you, see a dermatologist.

The app is not a medical device. It is not for children under 13. And it never asks you to skip professional care: if a reading or a change worries you, the right next step is a dermatologist, not another scan.

Privacy as part of skin health

A skin health app handles photos of your face, so privacy is part of the product. No faceprints or biometric templates are created. Photos are encrypted in storage in the EU, used once to produce the readings, never used for advertising or model training, and deletable in one tap from Settings. Deleting your account removes everything within 30 days, including backups.
